Drowning in spam texts?
Marketing texts to your cell phone generally require your prior express consent. Companies that blast texts you never agreed to — or keep texting after you replied STOP — may owe you $500 to $1,500 per message.
Signs your rights were violated
- Marketing texts you never signed up to receive
- Texts that keep coming after you replied 'STOP'
- Messages from companies you've never done business with
- Automated texts to your cell phone without consent
Telephone Consumer Protection Act · 47 U.S.C. § 227
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) restricts autodialed calls, prerecorded messages, and unsolicited texts to your cell phone without your consent. Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 46-5-27) adds state-level protection. Each illegal call or text can be worth $500 to $1,500.
What happens next
1. You tell us what happened
Answer a few questions or send a short message. It takes minutes and it's completely confidential.
2. We review it for free
An attorney reviews your situation and we contact you — usually within one business day — to talk it through.
3. We take on the company, not you
If you have a case, we handle it. In most consumer-protection cases, the company pays our fees when we win.
