Additionally, it provides customized letter and calling strategy, skip tracing and asset identification, and pre-legal and legal strategy services. Stellar Recovery, Inc. was formerly known as ARS Recovery Service, LLC and changed its name to Stellar Recovery, Inc. in January 2009. The company was founded in 1999 and is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Complaints:
Since 2012 Stellar Recovery has received 115 total consumer complaints according to the Better Business Bureau. In 2016 the CFPB reports 70 complaints to the government regulator. This is the last year the CFPB published the complaint list. A search of the PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) website reveals that this company had been often accused of breaching the FDCPA.
